From January 1st to February 1st, we invite our flying aces to join the competition by uploading a video that features a failure that eventually leads to an epic success! And of course, we’re giving away 3 XFPVs for the most inspiring videos.
We are so excited to announce the winners of our first-ever Powered Paper Airplane Challenge! These educators and their students used their creativity, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of aeronautics to create powered paper airplanes that seemed to defy gravity!
Wright Brothers were engineers, mechanics, innovators and inventors. Their hands-on experience working with bicycles, motors and machinery gave them the belief that a flying machine was truly possible. POWERUPs founder, Shai, had a similar experience that inspired him to create motorized paper airplanes.
At POWERUP, we’re passionate about aerodynamics and education (okay, and fun!) so we’re glad you’re joining us for the first-ever powered paper airplane challenge for education! We’ll work together to give students a hands-on flight experience as they use their creativity while learning about physics and aerodynamics.
From June 1st to July 1st, we invite our flying aces to join the competition for the longest flight duration. We’re giving away four separate prizes for each airplane category: 2.0, 3.0, DART, and FPV. You can even get creative and try out new designs for you airplane model.
