PowerUp 3.0 App Update

October 13, 2014 5 Comments

We just released a PowerUp 3.0 update (for both iOS and Android):

Download iOS app

Download Android app

  •  Flying modes: The app now includes a beginner-friendly mode, and an advanced mode (default) with more control. (Expert pilots can also turn this off completely.) You can also use these new modes for various types of airplanes that are more dynamic, or less dynamic, based on your comfort level with the design.
  • FlightAssist™: this highly improved algorithm now adjusts the rudder to autocorrect the torque of the motor when you add or reduce thrust, just like in real airplanes!
  • Electric trim settings: Before you start flying, you must trim the electric rudder to be straight. We have learned that trimming the rudder is critical in order to get full range of control. Now, you can save your trim settings for your airplane. (Access settings by touching the screen for 1 second.)

Dog Fight update

The Dogfight stretch goal is currently our top priority in development, and we are making huge strides with the proof of concept and key programming modules. In fact, we already have one play mode tested! We hope that within the next few months, we will be able to release the Dogfight app update with amazing additional gaming features. Safe keep your PowerUp 3.0 modules for the official Dogfight launch!

We are happy to supply you with updates, new and improved ways to enjoy your PowerUp 3.0, and above all, some serious fun!

Share your videos and experiences on our Facebook page.

Happy flying (and sharing!) everyone,

Looks like a really fun toy. Just wondering if two Powerups can be flown at the same time by two different users?

Can you make the app available for Windows Phone?
